Local Offer
- Description
Currently many staff have specific strengths in a variety of Special Educational Needs such as Autism and Speech and Language. This expertise allows SEN provision to remain high across school allowing us to support our SEN pupils fully. We work closely alongside many agencies to support pupils, parents and staff further to enable provision to maintain at a high standard. We have future plans in place to develop this provision even further with the possibility of in house professionals working closely within the school such as a possible counsellor, family worker or speech therapist. These however need further consideration for the next academic year.
The designated SENDCO has completed the National SENDCO Award to ensure all current SEN provision is up to date and as effective as possible, sharing expertise further with colleagues. New initiatives are being developed in school and future plans in discussion to offer additional provision or achievements to SEND in school.
