Gainsborough Adventure Playground Ltd - GAPA

The service is lead by an experienced manager who is supported by qualified playworkers. Children aged 5 - 14 years can access an extensive range of facilities which are child lead. Children can use both indoors and out with the outdoor area having space for den building, camp fires, sport and games, water play etc. Children are given the freedom and encouraged by the workers to make decisions around there own play choices and there are always opportunities for children to try out new experiences , gain confidence, take risks and push boundaries. Children aged 0 - 4 yrs are welcome to use the service but must be accompanied by an adult.

All sessions are fully inclusive parent/carers are encouraged to visit the site and talk to the playworkers about any requirements their child may have.

Description

Accessible facilities.

We have a named Senco practitioner in the nursery who has undertaken Senco training provided by the local authority.

GAPA's open access and 0 - 4 year service are fully inclusive and have children registered as members with a wide range of conditions including Autism and ADHD and also physical disabilities.  We encourage parents to visit the site and speak to the playworkers about their child particular needs.

The nursery works with the local authorities Birth to Five service to ensure that the needs of all children are met in the nursery and that any child can have access to the service.
