Billinghay Church of England Primary School

Billinghay Church of England Primary School serves the village of Billinghay and surrounding rural area. It is a happy, safe and inclusive school where children's understanding of our Christian values "contributes to the positive school environment in which children show very good behaviour, are happy and feel safe and confident to share their views and opinions." (Section 48 Church School Inspection February 2017)
The school was graded as Good overall and Good in all four areas of the inspection at our last full Ofsted report in January 2012. Ofsted carried out a short inspection of the school in 2017, with the school continuing to be graded as Good.
We are committed to continuing to ensure that all children achieve to their highest potential, reflected in our motto 'Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day', in a caring Christian community developing full potential and mutual respect for all, and continue our drive towards Outstanding.
Our Vision Statement
“Working together to nurture, raise aspirations and promote life in its fullness. Through our Christian ethos we seek to develop happy, enquiring minds, a spirit of curiosity, respect, and resilience. We value every member of our school community for who they are and through challenge, support and building positive relationships, we pursue excellence in all we do.

Local Offer
- Description
At Billinghay C of E Primary School we believe that each child is an individual and strive to ensure that all children receive challenge and support to achieve and be happy in their learning.
We are committed to offering an inclusive curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all of our pupils whatever their needs or abilities. However, we understand that some children can experience barriers to their learning or are identified as having a special educational need or disability, and therefore require provision that is ‘additional to’ or ‘different from’ the majority of children of their own age. Teachers take these requirements into account when planning lessons and make additional provision where necessary. This additional provision could be on an individual basis or as part of a small group. Progress and provision is reviewed regularly with parents/carers and outside agencies.
If you would like to find out more about how we can support your child to reach their full potential, please visit our school website.
