Independent Parental Special Education Advice - IPSEA

IPSEA is a national charity providing free legally based advice to families who have children with special educational needs.

IPSEA is a volunteer-based organisation and many of the volunteers providing telephone advice and Tribunal support are themselves parents of children with special educational needs who have been helped by IPSEA.

IPSEA have two help lines - one for advice on SEN, and one for support with Tribunal as well as an email information service which can be accessed through their website.
