What to do if you have a concern about your child
If you have concerns about your child's development or health, then in the first instance you should talk to a professional, e.g. Health Visitor, Nursery worker, teacher, social worker, or your GP.
Will my child be assessed?
Most Special Educational needs (SEN) are picked up when your child enters nursery/preschool or school. There are processes for assessing your child's needs and the support that may be available to them. Find out more about what schools and other settings will do if they are concerned about your child's progress.
