Freedom of Information (FOI) - Lincolnshire County Council

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 came into force on 1 January 2005 and provides the public with a general right of access to official information.  If you wish to make a Freedom of Information (FOI) request on information held by Lincolnshire County Council, then you can complete an online request.

Alternatively, if you would like to make your request by post or e-mail (without completing the online form), then please state on e-mail/letter that your request is being made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.  Your request must include:

  • Your full name;
  • An address for correspondence (this can be a postal address or an email address);
  • A description of the information required
