4.What Help Can I Get If I am the Abuser

Realising your behaviour is the first step in getting help. 

  • If you feel like you are abusing someone you're in a relationship with, a family member or someone else you can seek advice and help to stop abusive behaviour. There are people you can contact like Respect to help you overcome this, 
  • Look at ways to help cope with anger
  • Mindfullness- This is a way  of becoming more aware of our thoughts and feelings and how to react to them differently
  • Talk to someone
